SCADA Support

SKM has worked with Magna Water District at the sewer plant for twenty years providing SCADA support. Processes changed, and network, computer, and PLC hardware started to get outdated and unsupported. In 2018, Magna Water decided to upgrade the oxidation ditch with a vendor provided system, add a chemical process, and upgrade SCADA. SKM was selected for SCADA design and implementation. Moving the plant from an old SCADA system to a new SCADA system while keeping critical processes running took careful coordination with plant staff and contractors. SKM continues to support the plant with on-call support and maintenance.
